During the age of  heroes Waren the god  of magic was attacked  by the massive
forces of  Charnack. His  armies were  outnumbered and  slain. Waren  knew his
magic could not fully hurt the mighty demons of Charnack. When the demons came
for him he casted a powerful spell which created a pink aura around them which
made them weak against all forms of magic and then killed his attackers. It is
unknown what  happened to  Waren after  the attack  but the  spell he cast was
never forgotten by some. Now the curse is teached all over the realm to  magic
users who have struggled for survival against the more physical
adventurers.
