Tengus are an ancient and magical race of warriors, scholars and teachers. They have a strong sense of honour, and often refuse to work with the honourless. Tengus predate the arrival of humans. Their ancestral home is rumoured to be at the high mountains of the northeastern islands of Sumu world. Tengus appear as human-sized, bipedal crows with feathered bodies and pointed beaks, and huge wings. They wear clothing and occasionally armour, and wield weapons like humans. It is easy for them to train their wisdom. It is hard for them to train their dexterity. They can learn to master even the most difficult spells. It is extremely hard for them to learn to master skills. It is hard for them to learn to master spells. They can fly. They can see in the dark. They can see magical auras. They can eat corpses. They become weaker if they become evil. They regenerate mana very quickly. They recover from fatigue quickly. Some of the oldest known habitants of the realm belong to this race. They are slightly vulnerable to fire damage. They are well resistant to nexus damage. They are well resistant to psionic damage. They are slightly vulnerable to acid damage.
