Gnomes are smaller than  dwarfs, but larger  than  hobbits. They,  like  the
hobbits, live in the earth in burrow-like homes. Gnomes are practical jokers,
so  if  they  can  kill  something  in  a  humorous  way, so much the better.
They have  lower strength than humans so  they are not very good at fighting
with hand weapons.
