Elves are thought to have an ancient relation to humanity.  Although they
are not as numerous as Humans, they are considered one of the major races.
Elves are humanoid in appearence, but are usually a bit smaller and weaker
than most Humans.  They are dextrous and intelligent; commonly scholars and
wielders of profound arcane power although a few delve into other arts.
