Simple rules for the wizards of SumuMUD

These rules apply to all non-Archwizards

General rules:

- you must not zap a player, even if he/she insulted you
- you cannot force a player, unless some very special cases and not against
  the mortal's will
- you must not use echoalls or create tools of your own to send echo alls
- you must not drop objects or give ANY objects to mortals, not even objects
  that do nothing, this means ANY objects, nor money
- you must not harm a player in any ways
- you must not harm/heal a monster a player is killing
- you must not kill other wizard's monsters
- you must not patch mortal players or set their player object in any way
- you are not here to spam the channels
- you must act as a true wizard should act, this means no 'suffeli'
  (Mr. nice guy help) for mortals
- you may not reveal ANY information about monsters, items, skills, spells
  to mortals
- you may not CLONE any objects that are approved to the game and are part
  of the mortal life coded by other wizards: in the practise this means
  you are not allowed to clone that *nice* vorpal blade, unless you have
  coded it
- you are not allowed to kill equipment monsters coded by other wizards

Archwizards can do what ever they feel like, and their judgements can only
be overruled by highver archwizards and gods. Gods word is the final word.

Area creation rules:

- make good room, weapon, misc and armour etc. long descriptions, areas
  without good descriptions are not going to be approved
- make sucky items, yes, we do not want the mud to be filled with top items
  Generally, only experienced wizards should do good items. Exeperienced means
  they have a lot of experience on coding and being a player here
- try to include a some sort of quest for your area, that makes it a little
  more special, than just an ordinary hack'n'slash area
  It's not hard to code a quest, but you cannot code quests with room maker,
  and i don't even recommend you to use room maker, check /doc/mudlib
  for details of basic coding examples and consult with other wizards, and
  if other wizards cannot help you, ask an Archwizard, with a proper question
  including the file name of the object in question
- do not copy the code from the other muds, ideas can be used, but not the code

  After you've finished with your area, ask an Archwizard to approve it. Be
  patient, because Archwizards have tons of other work, and a real life too.

Words about cheating:

Most of you are here to code, but there are wizards, who remember the mortal
days and have real life friends who play.

We all know what is considered to be cheating. If you cheat, and help a mortal
character(s), they all will be removed and because this mud is based on a code,
all the possible ways of abuse the code are logged

Dewizzing:

It is possible for you to become a mortal again, but this means starting from
level 1. You only get to keep your previous task points, maximum of 5m exp
and 50k copper depending how much you had when you become wizard.
