In general, keep in mind that, for many, MUDs are not merely 'games', but
are extensions of reality, virtual realities. If you treat MUD in this
manner, you are much less likely to run into problems.  Don't do things that
you would not do in everyday life unless the genre is conducive to such
behaviour. You carry the consequences of what you do.

Players who are significantly inconsiderate, rude or insulting to the other
players or wizards of the game do not usually have that long mud career
ahead of them. [Non strictly game related] abusing of other players quickly
leads into banishment, removal or even into banishment of the ISP of the
offending player.
