As far as the game is concerned, the coders are no longer a part of it. Coders do not play the game, they are above that and participate only by adding new ideas, like quests, rooms and new areas. Coders will not have a mortal character. The only exception is a 'test- character', which a coder can try out areas and other aspects of the game that are not yet open to mortals. Testcharacters must be accepted by an Archwizard or higher in beforehand in order to be rendered legal. If a coder ever wants to become a mortal again, he or she will start back from the scratch with a new character, any gained task points may be kept. The chances of becoming a wizard again after giving up the immortality are very slim. Before applying for codership you should think twice. The decision is final as far as your current character is concerned. As a coder you would not have immense powers here, but you would have to obey the rules and guidelines created by the collegium of archwizards. Becoming a wizard is not just another option for you after you have becomen bored and do not wish to play anymore. You can only become a wizard if you wish to contribute to the game, and not doing so within reasonable amount of time may lead into removal of your wizardhood, and your character. To become a coder here you are to first score some levels to get to know the game, and then talk to an active archwizard whom you could get to sponsor your wizardhood. You will then receive a coder application form, which you have to fill in and email back. See also: wizard rules
