Sumu Mud Help :: Clans
Clan creation and how clans work
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

After the clan has been created, clan leader may invite new clan members and
nominate one clan member, who is above level 34, to the position of the clan
elder.

To be able to join a clan, one must be at least on level 20.

Clan leader and elder, may both choose one of their existing skills as their
master skill, in which they will gain clan bonus. This is done in the clan
house.

Other clan members may choose any skill from the 'skill list' in the clan
house. This will be their master skill, in which they will gain clan bonus.
The skill list, is based on the skills, that the clan leader and the elder
have.

Every clan member has clan bonus that is calculated by using the following
formula: player level / 10.

In this case, a player may have a maximum of 10 clan points, that he may
allocate to a single skill, that will give him increased skill chance.
However, a clan member may never have higher skill percent with the clan
bonus, compared to skill's teacher: the clan leader or elder.

Clan elder and leader both gain the same clan bonus on their skill rank.

Changing the master skill:
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

In this moment, you are allowed to change your master skill when ever your
want. This is going to change in the future.

Promoting skills:
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

A player gains one clan point per every ten levels. When a player, who is
not a clan leader or elder, gains a clan point, one must seek the tutor, who
is whether the clan leader or the elder, based on your master skill, to
allocate the spare clan point(s). Clan leader may not promote skills that he
doesn't know. Same goes with clan elder. Again the maximum possible bonus is
tutor's skill rank. Clan leader and elder allocate their points
automatically.

You may see your clan status, with the command 'clan status'.
