Robotting is illegal
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
The title says it all. Now, what is robotting or 'botting as we refer to it?
You use a certain type of a client program, that runs your character through
areas without any interactive action by the user in the question.
In botting, you use for example tinyfugue or zmud, to move your character
through the areas searching for monsters, and the client program in behalf
of you attacks the monsters and does the rest of the stuff, so you aren't
actually doing anything, but the client program does all the work.
You are not allowed to use a robot, even if you're behind the keyboard
watching or chatting with your friends. Idling at aggressive monsters, or
idling in a party where you tank or do damage with normal hits, even though
you are idle is also considered botting. To sum it up, gaining something in
the game when you are not at the keyboard, actively playing your character,
is robotting.
You don't want to be caught of botting. The usual punishment is removal of
your character, banishment and/or loss of levels.
If you're unsure whether or notyou're botting, ask an Archwizard an advice.
Triggers are there to help you to play, not do the playing for you.
